Privacy Policy

Effective August 12, 2026

BURN248 LTD LIABILITY CO. (“BURN248”, “we”, “us”) operates burn248.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site and in the course of our work, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

We are a business-to-business advisory. We do not sell personal information, and we do not build consumer profiles.

1.Who is responsible for your information

BURN248 LTD LIABILITY CO., a New Jersey limited liability company with offices at 199 Water Street, New York, NY 10038, is the controller of the personal information described here.

For questions about this policy, or to exercise any right described in Sections 8 through 10, write to hello@burn248.com.

2.What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a call through the site, the form sends your details to our email: your name, work email address, company name, and anything you write in the message field. Scheduling then happens over email, and that correspondence is stored in our mailbox and CRM.

Information we receive during an engagement. Clients share business information with us so we can do the work: advertising account access, analytics data, financial figures, and similar operating records. This material occasionally contains personal information, for example the names and email addresses of a client’s staff. We process it on the client’s instructions under our written services agreement. In that context the client is the controller and we act as a processor.

Technical information. Our host and analytics tools record standard request data automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps.

Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 3.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data, such as health, biometric, or political information, and we ask that you not send such data to us.

3.Cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies

The site uses three kinds of technology:

Strictly necessary. Cookies required to serve the page and to remember your cookie preferences. These do not require consent.

Analytics. Google Analytics 4, which tells us which pages are read, how long they are read for, and where visitors arrive from. We use this in aggregate to improve the site.

Advertising. The Meta Pixel, which lets us measure the performance of advertising on Facebook and Instagram and show ads to people who have visited the site. The Pixel sends Meta Platforms information about your visit, including your IP address and the pages you viewed. Meta processes that information under its own data policy.

Analytics and advertising technologies load only after you accept them, where the law requires prior consent. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sharing for advertising purposes.

4.Why we use your information, and on what legal basis

5.Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract:

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, where we must protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of the Meta Pixel may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. Section 10 explains how to opt out.

6.International transfers

We are based in the United States. Our website is hosted in Ukraine and the European Union, and our other service providers process information mainly in the United States. Where we transfer personal information out of the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

7.How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence and CRM records for up to twenty-four months after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.

We keep client engagement records for the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterwards. That covers the six-year limitation period for contract claims in New Jersey and standard tax record-keeping practice.

We keep analytics data in aggregated form. We delete or anonymise personal information once the purpose it was collected for has ended and no legal obligation requires us to keep it.

8.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Write to hello@burn248.com. We will respond within thirty days, or tell you why we need longer. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act, and you may use an authorised agent where the law allows.

9.If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area

You may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

10.If you are a California resident

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the rights listed in Section 8, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do share information with Meta Platforms through the Meta Pixel for advertising purposes, which California law treats as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To opt out, do any of the following:

In the twelve months before the date of this policy, we collected the categories of information described in Section 2: identifiers, professional or employment information, commercial information, and internet activity information. We collected them from you directly, from our analytics provider, and from our advertising provider, for the purposes listed in Section 4.

11.Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor due diligence to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12.Children

The site is aimed at business decision-makers. It is not directed to anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to hello@burn248.com and we will delete it.

13.Other sites

The site links to third-party services, including LinkedIn and Instagram. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

14.Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on this page for a reasonable period.
